New visualisations highlight a modern railway station precinct surrounded by landscaped gardens and open spaces, serviced by additional parking and improved pedestrian and cyclist connectivity.
Station modifications include a new accessible railway platform, an additional pedestrian underpass with lifts, ramps and stairs and an open forecourt area for community use.
The new Anderson Street vehicle underpass is also featured in the designs, revealing how it connects with existing roads and interacts with the new station precinct.
Inland Rail, and construction partner John Holland will undertake a month-long community engagement process to gather feedback on the landscaping, urban design finishes, colour palettes and heritage interpretation options.
Updates will also be provided on road detour routes and construction plans.
The Euroa railway station precinct designs can be viewed, and feedback shared until 13 December by:

Ed Walker, Inland Rail Delivery Director B2A said:
“The new designs transform the Euroa railway station precinct into an open, accessible and welcoming community asset.
“The station will be open to Railway Street and provide far better access for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.
“The Euroa community have played an important role to shape the plans for the railway station precinct and the Anderson Street underpass and we’ve incorporated many of their ideas and suggestions from previous community engagement in the new designs.”
