Forbes Station to Wyndham Avenue low impact splicing works – September 2022
Between 26 to 27 September 2022, our contractor Vocus will continue low impact works at Forbes Station and north of Wyndham Avenue associated with the relocated Optical Fibre cables within the rail corridor. Undertaking the work overnight minimises any impact to end users.
What can I expect?
- Vehicles entering and exiting the site at the commencement and conclusion of works
- Workers on site during the shift.
Machinery used
- Battery-operated splice,
- localised work area battery lighting.

- Equipment selected to minimise noise and light impacts
- Vehicle movements controlled.
