ARTC Information Session - Murphys Creek Community Hall

You still have time to have your say on the Gowrie to Helidon project’s draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

The public display period commenced on 2 August and will close on 25 October 2021.

The Project team has held six information sessions and two Community Consultative Committee (CCC) meetings to explain the draft EIS and advise how the community can have their say.

We’ve had a great turnout at the information sessions, with over 120 community members dropping in to find out more about the project. Thank you to everyone who made it to our sessions.

At the 24 August Lockyer Valley CCC meeting, our EIS subject matter experts delivered presentations on each draft EIS chapter. If you missed the meeting, you can view the presentation videos on our YouTube channel.

If you’d like an overview of the draft EIS, check out the project’s Summary of findings.

You can download it from our website or pick up a printed copy from our Gatton office at 47 North Street, Gatton or Toowoomba office at 143-145 Margaret Street, Toowoomba.

You can view the draft EIS online via the Queensland Coordinator-General’s website, or you can view digital copies at local, state and national libraries as well as our Gatton and Toowoomba offices. Click this link for locations.

A printed copy is also available to view at the Gatton, Goombungee and Highfields libraries, and our Gatton and Toowoomba offices.
