Inland Rail graduate spotlight: David Cresswell
In 2021, Inland Rail partnered with Engineers Australia to build our Graduate Development Program, enabling the best young minds to contribute to Australia’s largest rail infrastructure project. Four years later, a top recruit has graduated as a Project Engineer and is now working on site, supporting the Northern NSW team.
Meet the newest member of our team, Nat Woods
Late last year our Goondiwindi team moved into new office space at 28 Marshall Street, Goondiwindi, which is better suited for community drop-ins. Greeting visitors is our newest team member and a well-known and respected Goondiwindi local, Nat Woods.

Important – Fire ant emergency order
In late November, the NSW Department of Primary Industries confirmed the detection of three red imported fire ant nests in South Murwillumbah in north-eastern New South Wales, 13km south of the Queensland border.

Responding to your noise and project delivery feedback
Your feedback from our latest May to June community survey indicated communities are keen to know more about how we will manage noise during the operation of Inland Rail, as well as construction timing for each section.
