About Inland Rail
The Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track. The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges. About the opportunity
As the Head of Finance, you will oversee the financial
management of the Inland Rail Program, ensuring alignment with strategic
objectives and compliance with key governance frameworks. You will spearhead
financial operations, manage funding mechanisms, and provide high-level
strategic advice to stakeholders. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you
will play a pivotal role in shaping the future success of this critical
infrastructure project.

About you
You should be an accomplished financial leader with
extensive experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost
management for large-scale capital mega projects. Additionally, you should be proficient
in financial governance, accounting standards and stakeholder engagement within
government or infrastructure sectors along with a proven ability in management
of funding
mechanisms. Exceptional strategic thinking, team leadership, and precision in
audits, reporting, and compliance processes will be must to succeed in this
role.
