About Inland Rail
The Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track. The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges. About the opportunity
As the Lead Commercial (Senior
Contracts Administrator) for Inland Rail, you will play a key role in
managing budgets, assessing variations and claims, overseeing Contract
Administrators, and handling contractual correspondence. You’ll be part of a
collaborative and supportive team, reporting to the Commercial Manager and
partnering with the project delivery team to resolve contractual matters while
ensuring adherence to established systems, procedures, and compliance
standards. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: About You To succeed as
a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will need strong technical skills
in contract management, budget control, and claims assessment, combined with
key soft skills such as collaboration, clear communication, leadership,
problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability. These abilities will
enable you to effectively manage teams, resolve contractual issues, and ensure
successful project delivery.
