About the opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Integrity Advisor to champion ethical standards and strengthen Inland Rail’s high-performance culture of integrity. In this pivotal role, you will implement, monitor, and promote key systems and processes that uphold transparency and accountability across the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and maintain Inland Rail’s Fraud Control Plan and related compliance activities.
  • Manage systems for conflicts of interest, gifts, benefits, and hospitality, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct fraud risk assessments, stress testing, and data analysis to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Provide expert advice on integrity and governance matters to senior stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of ethical behaviour and encourage reporting of misconduct.
  • Support investigations and deliver clear, evidence-based reports.
  • Develop and deliver training to enhance ethical awareness across the organisation.
  • Always operate in accordance with Inland Rail’s CARE Values.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Corporate Governance, or Compliance.
  • Proven experience in fraud risk management and integrity frameworks within complex organisations.
  • Experience in identifying and assessing fraud risks and controls across business functions, maintaining fraud risk assessments and fraud controls plans.
  • Familiarity with principles of probity and integrity for large complex construction programs and projects.
  • Experience with managing probity matters including reviewing conflicts of interest, gifts, benefits and hospitality.
    Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and governance principles.
