North Camurra to Croppa Creek level crossing finishing works
From November 2022, our contractor Trans4m Rail will undertake level crossing finishing works at Roydon Road, Wongabindie Road, Calimpa Road, Alma Lane, Gil Gil Creek Road and Tumba Road.
Work being done
Works will include minor shaping works, installing signage, minor sealing works and line marking.
What can I expect
- Trucks and other vehicles entering and exiting the construction site
- Construction machinery and equipment operating on site adjacent to live traffic along associated local roads
- Delivery of materials and equipment
- Some of these works will be noisy and mitigation measures will be in place
- Minor traffic delays are expected during work hours.
Machinery used
- Trucks,
- cranes,
- graders,
- excavators,
- loaders,
- rollers and
- water/vacuum excavation trucks
will be used within the construction impact zone.
How we’re managing impacts
- Traffic control will be in place, where required and
- water carts will be on site to wet down areas to assist in managing dust.
