Traffic Volume Assessment, Benalla, 3-20 December
Temporary traffic counters and cameras will be installed to assess traffic volumes in Benalla.
Work being done
The cameras and road counters will be used to determine the frequency of vehicles passing on Mackellar Street, Railway Place and the intersection of Ackerly Avenue, Railway Place and Maginness Street.
The information captured will be used to inform traffic management plans during construction to help minimise impacts and disruptions.
What can I expect?
Workers using handheld equipment to install and remove counters and cameras.
Machinery used
There will be no machinery used during this activity.
Cancellation of Works
Works can sometimes be cancelled at short notice depending on weather and other factors. Should this occur, works will be rescheduled.
