Sewer investigations, Wandong 11 – 14 February
Sewer investigations will occur in Wandong in mid-February.
Work being done
Activities will include:
- Investigating and cleaning out sewer pits at multiple locations
- Locating and mapping underground services using non-destructive digging (NDD) equipment.
What can I expect?
- Investigations will occur between 7am-6pm Monday to Friday
- Door knocks will occur ahead of sewer investigations
- Traffic management will be in place where investigations are close to roads. Please observe all traffic management instructions and signage
- Reduced speed limits of 40km/h near investigation locations
- Workers using machinery, equipment, hand tools and service vehicles operating at each site
- Nearby residents may hear some noise during this time and can expect some additional construction workers and vehicles in the area.
Machinery used
NDD truck, support vehicles, workers using hand tools and survey equipment, traffic management equipment and signage.
How we're managing impacts
- Traffic management and reduced road speeds
- Access to private properties will be maintained.
If investigations are cancelled
Works can sometimes be cancelled at short notice depending on weather and other factors. Should this occur, activity will be rescheduled.
