Wangaratta Station car park works
Between 8pm to 12pm on 27 June, our contractor McConnell Dowell will undertake after hours works at the Wangaratta Station car park.
Work being done
After hours works will occur between 8pm and 12pm on 27 June 2023 at the Wangaratta Station car park.
Works will include installing a pedestrian detour route from the station entrance to the Docker Street pedestrian bridge, due to the closure of the Cusack Street footbridge bridge. This work is occurring at night to minimise disruption to station users.
Pedestrian and vehicle access to the Wangaratta Station will be maintained during this period.
What can I expect?
- Traffic management for pedestrians and vehicles will be in place to maintain safe access to the station
- Temporary light towers will be operating
- General works noise can be expected.

- Trucks and light vehicles.
- Light towers will be installed in the work area.
How we’re managing impacts
- Reducing the number of work vehicles in the area
- Night works to minimise disruptions to station users.
