Wangaratta Station Precinct works, April 2025
Inland Rail contractors will continue work around the Wangaratta Station Precinct in April 2025.
Work being done
- Station precinct landscaping
- Commissioning of lifts
- Removal of Docker Street footbridge ramps
- Installation of streetlight and fencing
- Minor works to the carpark and platform.
What can I expect?
- Construction activity between 6am-7pm Monday to Sunday (7 days)
- Construction machinery and equipment, trucks and other vehicles will access the work site
- Ground excavation in various locations
- Approved vegetation removal within the project area.
Machinery used
Heavy and light vehicles including concrete pump trucks, trucks, cranes, dump trucks, loaders, excavators, augers and power drills will be used within the work area.
How we're managing impacts
- Traffic management will be in place to ensure safe access for all road users and pedestrians
- Environmental controls in place, including live monitoring of noise, dust and vibration.
