Croppa Creek, Yallaroi Creek, and Gil Gil Creek rail bridge replacement works
Our contractor Trans4m Rail will continue rail bridge replacement works at Croppa Creek, Yallaroi Creek, and Gil Gil Creek from Friday 7 January 2022.
Work being done
Demolition works are complete, and we will now start works to build new rail bridge structures at all locations.
Works will occur between 7am and 6pm Monday to Sunday progressively.
What can I expect
Croppa Creek
- Trucks and other vehicles will enter and exit the construction site via Buckie Road, west of level crossing 918, north of Croppa Creek township
- Construction machinery and equipment operating on site.
Gil Gil Creek
- Trucks and other vehicles will enter and exit the construction site via a temporary access road, south east of level crossing 913, near Gil Gil Creek Road
- Construction machinery and equipment operating on site.
Yallaroi Creek
- Trucks and other vehicles will enter and exit the construction site via Boonery Park Road, west of level crossing 921
- Construction machinery and equipment operating on site.

How we’re managing impacts
- Traffic control will be in place, where required
- Water carts will be on site to wet down areas to assist in managing dust.
