Creating opportunities for Australian, local, regional and First Nations suppliers and supporting local jobs, communities and regional economies is embedded in our procurement process.

We engage a number of major contractors who, in turn, use smaller suppliers and businesses to deliver a variety of goods, services and works to complete the supply chain for delivery of Inland Rail.

Opportunities with our contractors

We encourage our major contractors and their subcontractors to communicate details of all indirect supply opportunities on the ICN Gateway website.

Follow these steps to be notified about these upcoming opportunities with Inland Rail:

1. Visit the ICN Gateway website.

(Gateway by ICN is a procurement website independent from Inland Rail.)

2. Create a company profile.

(Review the site’s terms and conditions.)

3. Search for “Inland Rail”.

You’ll see info about our current opportunities and how to lodge a Registration of Interest.

4. Opt in to receive updates.

To be notified of any new Inland Rail opportunities, you can elect to receive notifications from ICN Gateway.

Direct supply opportunities

We use the TenderLink portal to communicate expressions of interest (EOIs), tenders and other opportunities to the market, and to manage the procurement process through to the contract award stage.

Create a profile on our TenderLink portal to see current direct opportunities.

Our suppliers

We communicate details for contracts awarded on our website to provide transparency about our procurement activities and to provide smaller suppliers and businesses seeking to work with Inland Rail with contact details for our contractors and suppliers.

Direct contracts awarded by Inland Rail and indirect contracts awarded by our construction contractors can be viewed in a table.
