Euroa CFA volunteers get a first look at new station precinct

Local volunteer firefighters from the Euroa Country Fire Authority (CFA) got an up-close look at the Euroa Station Precinct in October, touring the site to see the upgraded facilities and new services taking shape ahead of completion.

Hosted by Inland Rail and construction partner John Holland, the visit took members through the site layout and access points, as well as the new safety equipment being installed, including water tanks and fire hydrants.

These new services will help support firefighting efforts should they ever be needed, boosting safety for the wider Euroa community.

The CFA members were pleased with the new services and were keen to see the new lifts taking shape, using the opportunity to talk through potential rescue requirements – a less common scenario in regional areas.

Visits like this help build strong relationships with local emergency services and make sure everyone is well prepared as the new precinct nears completion.
