Curiosity, creativity and plenty of excitement were on display when Eurongilly Public School welcomed students from Nangus, Illabo and Stockinbingal for a memorable day of science and discovery.

The science day saw students explore the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) through a range of hands-on learning experiences.
Students rotated through interactive sessions focused on sustainable food, chemistry, coding and bridge building, with the bridge-building challenge delivered by John Holland and Inland Rail.
The activities encouraged teamwork, problem-solving and plenty of curiosity and gave students the chance to learn alongside their peers from neighbouring communities.
Beyond the classroom activities, the day saw students from neighbouring communities make new friendships and connect over a picnic lunch in the picturesque grounds of Eurongilly Public School. The excitement continued into the afternoon with a live performance from The Liquid Nitrogen Show, which captivated students with a range of fun and fascinating science demonstrations.
The event inspired students to explore the world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a fun and engaging way.
