About the opportunity

Primary Objectives

Support the Project Manager – Interfaces in the management of key delivery stakeholders for the Albury to Parkes Enhancements Program (A2P Enhancements) in line with the projects’ delivery schedule targets and planning requirements.  Coordinate across the delivery team and broader Inland Rail project team to ensure a consistent, compliant and strategic approach to stakeholder interfaces.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the coordination with the key delivery stakeholders
  • Establishing, tracking and managing deliverables of the Works Authorisation Deeds (WADs) with TfNSW in accordance with the Master Framework Agreement
  • Coordinate with the Independent Verifier in the undertaking of their role
  • Coordinate with our internal Communications and Stakeholder teams as it related to key delivery stakeholders
  • Ensure that the various council requirements are administered as established under the Master Inland Rail Development Agreements (MIRDAs)
  • Assist with the administration, engagement and compliance of third party agreements including access licences and utilities agreements
  • Assist with the establishment and administration of property and access agreements, licences and adjustments.
  • Monitor various consultants and contractors involved in the project and the overall Inland Rail Programme as it relates to the above interface activities. 
  • Assist the ITC contractor in the development, coordination, compliance and review of third party approvals, authorisation and utilities works packages, to achieve the project’s requirements and deliverables.
  • Assist in the preparation of contract documentation, correspondence and submissions to gain approvals, both internally and externally, at various management delegations. 
  • Assist in the administration of contracts to ensure prompt assessment of claims and finalisation of contract documentation. 
  • Assist in financial forecasting and reports on allocated projects.
  • Monitor and report on contractor performance and progress including operational readiness, quality, safety and environmental objectives to support the delivery of the project.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have great interpersonal skills, a strategic thinker, be well versed in collaboration, influencing and adaptable.  You will need to demonstrate great communication and presentation skills as this role is pivotal in collaboration with various key internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualifications. 
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering or infrastructure environment
  • Experience in the delivery of CSSI rail and/or road projects. 
  • Demonstrable ability to work in an organised well-ordered manner. 
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills. 
  • Highly developed problem resolution and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen. 
  • Sound knowledge of Contract management and TfNSW Standards and Specifications.
