By relocating the train line and removing the vehicle access road and bridge, we’re improving connectivity between the town centre and the station.
Demolition works started with removal of the bridge deck and then station access road.
Construction is now progressing on the new station forecourt, open public spaces, improved car parking and bus interchange areas.
We’re transforming Benalla Station Precinct with a new pedestrian underpass, providing safer accessibility with lifts, ramps and stairs.
