Work being done

Utility contractors will undertake works on behalf of Inland Rail to relocate telecommunication services in the vicinity of Kemp Street bridge, Junee between July 2023 and November 2023.

Some properties will be impacted by noise associated with these works. Our construction subcontractors will implement mitigation measures to ensure these impacts are minimised as much as possible.

These utility relocations have been assessed through a Review of Environmental Factors under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

We want to reassure residents that starting these utility relocations now does not mean approval has been given for major construction to begin on the Albury to Illabo section.

They will however enable major construction to start more efficiently once approvals are issued.
