STEM Punks program inspires local students

Students in Broadford, Benalla and Euroa broadened their interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) skills in August, as part of the Inland Rail Skills Academy partnership with STEM Punks.

STEM Punks is an education program that aims to inspire career pathways in STEM-related fields.

Through hands-on engagement, the program connects industry with schools to raise awareness of career pathways and job opportunities within the STEM field.

Delivered in schools, the program is based on Inland Rail-related problem-solving scenarios and Inland Rail staff attend to provide real world connections for students.

STEM Punks visited:

  • Broadford Secondary College
  • FCJ College, Benalla
  • Euroa Secondary College.
