The Gowrie to Calvert (formerly known as the Lockyer Valley) Community Consultative Committee was established in December 2017 and has 15 members, plus the independent Chair, who provide input and feedback into the Gowrie to Helidon and Helidon to Calvert projects.
The two-year tenure of the Gowrie to Calvert CCC concluded in late 2019. The renewed Committee was appointed in March 2020, for up to two years, or until the Gowrie to Helidon and Helidon to Calvert projects have gained statutory approval.

At the 12 April 2022 meeting, the Committee decided to change the name to Gowrie to Calvert CCC to incorporate the existing role of Toowoomba and Ipswich local government areas in the projects.
