Croppa Creek power outage works

As part of the Narrabri to North Star Phase 1 project, work is required to enhance the electricity network that supplies power to Croppa Creek. A planned power outage has been planned for 19 October 2022 to ensure these works can be completed safely.

Work being done

Authorised contractors Essential Energy will install streetlighting along the rail corridor, adjacent to Buckie Road level crossing to support the ongoing Inland Rail construction.

The outage will affect the entire town of Croppa Creek and customers will be notified by Essential Energy closer to the outage date.

Customers who rely on a continuous power supply are encouraged to have a contingency plan in place for when power supplies are impacted.
