Cusack Street footbridge closure, Wangaratta
From 29 June 2023, the Cusack Street pedestrian bridge will be closed permanently to make way for the new Wangaratta station pedestrian underpass.
Work being done
The Cusack Street pedestrian bridge will be closed permanently.
The footbridge is being removed to make way for the new Wangaratta station pedestrian underpass.
Pedestrian access through Wangaratta Station Precinct will be via the Docker Street footbridge at the northern end of the station.
Access across the Docker Street footbridge will be maintained until the new underpass is ready for use.
What can I expect?
- Cusack Street pedestrian access permanently closed from 29 June 2023
- Access through the Wangaratta Station Precinct will be via the Docker Street footbridge
- Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout construction
- Wayfinding signage will be in place.
