Gil Gil Creek Road roadworks
Our contractor Trans4m Rail will undertake roadworks on Gil Gil Creek Road (between County Boundary Road and Oregon Road) from Friday 7 January 2022.
Work being done
Works will occur between 7am and 6pm Monday to Sunday (intermittently) and be completed under traffic control.
Changed traffic conditions
Traffic flows will be managed using a one lane alternate flow system where one lane is always open to traffic. Minor delays are expected.
Motorists are urged to follow all speed zone reductions and directional traffic signage.
What can I expect
- Trucks and other vehicles entering and exiting the construction site
- Construction machinery and equipment operating on site
- Timing of works will be intermittent.

How we’re managing impacts
- Traffic controls will be in place, including Variable Message Signage (VMS) directing traffic to the road detour
- Some of these works will be noisy and mitigation measures will be in place
- Water carts will be on site to wet down areas to assist in managing dust.
