Stakeholder Engagement Manager Central, Naomi Tonscheck said Inland Rail was proud to support such an important initiative within the North Star to NSW/Queensland Border project area.

“Our stakeholder engagement and social performance teams work closely with the Indigenous community in and around Boggabilla and Moree, so we were really pleased to be invited to be part of these local events,” Mrs Tonsheck said.

“We popped up some Inland Rail gazebos to shade concert-goers at each event and thoroughly enjoyed having a chat with everyone who visited our information stand in Boggabilla – we even managed to get a photo with Kobie Dee!”

Inland Rail also provided funding support towards a two-day Youth Forum, which was held before the Moree concert. Run by Indigenous support organisation, Just Reinvest, the forum gave local Indigenous youth an opportunity to come together, grow connections and make plans for what they want to see for Moree.
