Important conversations at the Moree information session
In early March, Inland Rail hosted a community information session to update locals on both the Narrabri to North Star Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects and answer any questions.

The event was held over lunch at the SHAE Academy in Moree with a delicious BBQ served up courtesy of local retailers, Reado’s Meats and Annie’s Bakery.
Joining the team were representatives from Inland Rail’s Social Performance, Cultural Heritage and Indigenous Participation teams. Phase 1 Contractor Trans4m Rail also attended as well as a representative from the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development.
Sixteen attendees dropped into the session, including local Moree residents, members of both the Toomelah and Moree LALC, and members of the Moree Council.
Plans are underway to repeat this engagement in other locations along the alignment.
