Location: Regional VIC (Euroa) – This role will suit someone living in the Euroa area or Melbourne based and available to work on site a minimum of 3 days a week.

Work Type: Fix term contract till Dec 2026

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Review scope, program, cost and safety inputs for contractor work packages and validate implementation.
Contribute to project safety initiatives and ensure safe working practices at all times.
Assist in resolving construction and engineering issues, including identifying scope deviations and assessing variation impacts.
Review and monitor contractor safety and works planning documentation
Prepare quantitative and qualitative reporting including technical evaluations, performance reports, and daily site diaries.
Support monitoring of project KPIs and assist with contract administration including claims and variations.
Conduct site inspections and engage with councils and external authorities as required.
Perform inspections and close-out of contractor works including quality documentation.
Ensure timely review of contractor delivery plans, methodologies and programs.
Uphold safety, environmental, and workplace conduct requirements.
Promote a respectful, inclusive, and discrimination-free working environment.

About you

To be successful, you will have:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia.
Experience in engineering construction, or project management (track, civil, structures, signalling, or similar).
Understanding or awareness of WHS principles and rail safety legislation.
Experience delivering major infrastructure projects, including site-based work.
Excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills and an ability to manage competing priorities.
Class C driver’s licence.
Willingness to travel and spend multiple days per week at the Euroa worksite.
