No. 63: Kittos Bridge Road, Peak Hill
We will be upgrading the level crossing on Kittos Bridge Road, Peak Hill.
While we do this, Kittos Bridge Road will be closed until mid-February 2020.
Location
Kittos Bridge Road, between the Newell Highway and Bulgandramine Road, Peak Hill.
What we will be doing
- Laying new rail and sleepers
- Build road formations and new plate over rail
- Welding rail into place
- Install new gravel (ballast), tamp (adjust) rail into place
- Install permanent signage and fencing

- Traffic management with detour signage will be in place to assist those impacted by the road closure.
