Staying safe near construction sites
With trains and track-based equipment operating throughout construction of the Narrabri to North Star Phase 1 project, motorists and road users will notice an increase in activity at level crossings.

Using existing tracks within the rail corridor helps us to transport construction materials more efficiently. However, in the early stages of construction material will be delivered via road in some locations.
Please follow all traffic signage and controls when driving across level crossings. This includes giving way to any oncoming trains or other equipment using the track.
Our work involves using heavy machinery and vehicles both within the rail corridor and on local roads.
For your safety, please do not enter the rail corridor or construction sites. Please use added caution when driving or walking, and always observe signage.
