Telstra relocation works, Roy Street East, Wangaratta
From 14 to 21 November, Telstra relocation works will be undertaken prior to the construction of the Green Street bridge.
Work being done
Works include using surfacing drilling equipment (under boring) to install Telstra conduits and pits and enable new cabling between Roy Street East and the rail corridor. The service pit will also be upgraded.
The works will be conducted within the nature strip and the rail corridor.
Telstra will notify their customers directly if there are anticipated impacts to services.
Machinery used
- heavy and light vehicles including trucks,
- excavator,
- a drill rig and
- contractor vehicles
will be used within the work areas.
How we’re managing impacts
- traffic management will be in place to ensure safe access for all road users and pedestrians, where required
- reducing vehicles required onsite.
