Temporary road closures and traffic changes
Timing: 14-28 October 2026
We have replaced the Broadford-Wandong Road bridge with a new higher structure to provide sufficient clearance for double-stacked freight trains.
We have also undertaken additional roadworks on both sides of the bridge.
To complete asphalting and line-marking works, there will be temporary road closures and traffic changes during this time.
Works will be staged to minimise the impact to the community.
Road closures will be communicated via electronic signage.

Temporary short-term traffic management

We have replaced the Broadford-Wandong Road bridge with a new higher structure to provide sufficient clearance for double-stacked freight trains.
While we complete our works, temporary short-term traffic management may be in place along sections of:
- Broadford-Wandong Road bridge
- Broadford-Wandong Road
- Epping-Kilmore Road
- Rail Street.
