Gowrie to Kagaru section fact sheet

Information on the Gowrie to Kagaru project, which encompasses three sections: Gowrie to Helidon, Helidon to Calvert and Calvert to Kagaru. The Gowrie to Kagaru section of Inland Rail is considered the most technically complex section of the Inland Rail program.

The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) must compensate for any identified biodiversity loss under Australian and Queensland Government legislation. Through biodiversity offsets we can improve existing ecosystems or habitats and create ecosystems and habitats to deliver long term benefits for impacted species or ecosystems.
