Glenrowan investigative works
McConnell Dowell has been engaged by ARTC to complete early delivery activities for the Inland Rail project in Victoria.
Works will include a feature survey in Kelly Street and Siege Street, and service location and geotechnical investigations in Siege Street and Woolshed Road.What can i expect?
- Trucks and other vehicles entering and exiting the construction site, which may cause minor delays
- Construction machinery and equipment operating on-site
- Delivery of materials and equipment
- Some of these works will be noisy and mitigation measures will be in place.
Machinery used
A small drill rig, support vehicles and a small tipper truck will be used within the construction area.
How we’re managing impacts
- Traffic controls will be in place, where required
- Water carts will be on-site to wet down areas to assist in managing dust.
Cancellation
Works can sometimes be cancelled at short notice depending on weather and staff availability due to COVID health requirements. Should this occur, works will be rescheduled.
