Tapscott Road Out-of-Hours Level Crossing Works
From Monday 3 April to Sunday 9 April 2023, our contractor Trans4m Rail will undertake out-of-hours level crossing and drainage upgrade works at Tapscott Road, Moree.

- Level crossing upgrade and finishing works
- Signage installation at level crossings
- Upgrading and commissioning signaling and communications equipment
- Surveying
How we’re managing impacts
Traffic control, including variable message boards will be in place, where required and water carts will be on site to wet down areas to assist in managing dust.
Measures to minimise the impacts of noise such as non-tonal reversing beepers and positioning lighting towers to face away from residential homes will be implemented.
What can I expect
- Rolling stock operating on the rail lines
- Trucks and other vehicles will enter and exit the construction site via multiple access gates
- Construction machinery and equipment operating on site
- Delivery of materials and equipment
- Increased truck movements along Burrington Road
- Motorists should follow traffic controls and drive with caution.

- water/vacuum excavation trucks,
- hi-rail vehicles,
- rolling stock (tamper and regulator) and
- watercarts will be used within the construction area.
