Work on the Albury to Parkes section is already generating jobs for local residents and we’ve invested more than $9 million with local businesses in southern New South Wales.
John Holland is the construction contractor for the Illabo to Stockinbingal section.
Two information and networking sessions will be held in March to help businesses find out how to get involved with building Inland Rail through supply, workforce and training opportunities.
The sessions will provide an overview of the Illabo to Stockinbingal works and a chance to talk with the John Holland and Inland Rail teams.
Illabo to Stockinbingal works include the construction of several bridges and level crossings, numerous culverts, as well as a new crossing loop to enable the safe operation of double-stacked freight trains.
Construction is scheduled to start in 2025.
Businesses interested in supplying to John Holland are encouraged to register their interest against work packages published on the project’s ICN Gateway page.
More information and resources can be found on Inland Rail’s Supplier page.
Formal presentations will be followed by a networking session.
Watch this video to hear how local businesses benefited from our events back in 2024 when we introduced John Holland, our contractor for Beveridge to Albury Tranche 2 works.
