Intersection closure and detour, Green Street and Roy Street West, Wangaratta, 10-20 December 2024 (Date Extension)
UPDATED – EXTENSION OF DATES: Inland Rail contractor McConnell Dowell will be undertaking roadworks at the intersection of Green Street and Roy Street West from Tuesday 10 December to Friday 20 December.
Work being done
Asphalting the intersection of Green Street and Roy Street West to complete the tie-ins for the new Green Street bridge road surface.
What can I expect?
- Access to properties will not be affected during these works
- Detours in place via Dixon and Cusack streets from 10–20 December
- Noise from machinery and equipment operating onsite
- Trucks and other vehicles entering and exiting the Green Street bridge worksite.
Machinery used
Asphalting truck, excavators, rollers, heavy and light vehicles.
How we're managing impacts
Traffic management will be in place to ensure safe access for all road users and pedestrians.
