Ground investigations & surveys, Broadford 11-29 November 2024
Inland Rail contractors will undertake drainage and sewer investigation works at various locations in and around Broadford.
Work being done
Activities will include:
- Investigating and cleaning out drainage and sewer lines at multiple locations
- Locating and mapping underground services using non-destructive digging (NDD).
What can I expect?
- Door knocks will occur ahead of certain works.
- Traffic management will be required in some locations where works are occurring close to roads. Please observe all traffic management instructions and signage.
- Reduced speed limits of 40km/h near works.
- Workers using machinery, equipment, hand tools and service vehicles operating at each site.
- Nearby residents may hear some noise during this time and can expect some additional construction workers and vehicles in the area.
Machinery used
NDD truck, support vehicles, CCTV unit, workers using hand tools and survey equipment, traffic management equipment and signage.
How we're managing impacts
- Traffic management and reduced road speeds.
- Access to private properties will be maintained.
