Broadford project update drop-in session

Construction in Broadford is progressing with works nearly complete at Short and Hamilton streets and preparations well underway for Marchbanks Road bridge replacement in the coming months.

To find out the latest information and talk to the team, we’re hosting a drop-in session at Beckspresso on Tuesday 7 July.

The Short Street and Hamilton Street bridges have been replaced with new higher structures and the track lowered to provide sufficient clearance for double-stacked freight trains.

Construction at the Marchbanks Road bridge site is accelerating, with essential piling works taking place in mid-July.
