Snapshot

Date

27 March 2023 - 31 March 2023

Working hours

7am to 6pm Monday to Friday

Location

Dudauman Creek and levee banks, west from Grogan Road and between Cambria and Wood Streets.

Town
  • Stockinbingal
Local Government Area
  • Cootamundra

What can I expect?

  • Some potential low-level noise resulting from drone operation, which will be short in duration at each site.
  • Properties that may potentially be noise affected by these investigations will be notified individually.

These investigations are allowed to be completed under the project’s Critical State Significant Infrastructure (CSSI) declaration, which was issued in 2021 by the NSW Minister for Planning.

We want to reassure residents that starting these investigations now does not mean approval has been given for major construction to begin on the Illabo to Stockinbingal section.

They will however enable major construction to start more efficiently once approvals are issued.

Machinery used

  • Conventional land-based survey equipment
  • Aerial based drone equipment

How we’re managing impacts

  • Access to residential properties will be maintained at all times
  • Mitigation measures will be in place for works generating noise or dust.
