About the opportunity

Reporting to the General Counsel, this role provides high-quality administrative and coordination support to the General Counsel, Head of Enterprise Governance, Risk & Compliance, and Head of Internal Audit & Integrity. 

You will play an important role in supporting the effective operation of legal, governance, risk and audit activities through effective administration, document management, governance coordination and stakeholder engagement. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional environment, is detail-oriented and takes pride in delivering high-quality support services while gaining exposure to executive legal, governance and assurance functions. 

Key Responsibilities include but no limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and inbox management. 
  • Prepare, format and coordinate briefing papers, presentations, reports and meeting materials. 
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of Board papers, Committee papers, governance reports and executive correspondence. 
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, action tracking and follow-up activities. 
  • Maintain records, registers and controlled documents in accordance with governance and compliance requirements. 
  • Support legal administration activities, including document preparation, research and information gathering. 
  • Manage expenses, purchase orders and general business support activities. 
  • Assist with governance, risk, compliance and assurance forums to ensure documentation is accurate, timely and professionally presented.

This role is offered as an initial 12-month fixed-term opportunity. 

About you

You are a highly organised and proactive administrator who enjoys supporting senior leaders and coordinating important business activities. You may bring experience from a legal, governance, risk, compliance, audit or professional services environment, along with strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities. You should be comfortable handling confidential information, preparing high-quality documentation and building effective working relationships. 
 
Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems 
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritise tasks independently 
  • High-quality written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across reports, records and correspondence 
  • Discretion and confidence handling confidential or sensitive information 
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders
