Site surveys, Junee Yards, 7-19 April 2025
Inland Rail contractors plan to undertake site surveys in and around the new proposed driver changeover platforms in Junee between 7 and 19 April 2025.
Work being done
The two site survey locations will be along the track and along:
- Edgar Street, opposite Hammond Street, and
- Main Street, between Cross Street and Elizabeth Street
Moving these platforms will help to alleviate congestion along Olympic Highway during the current driver changeover periods.
These investigations will entail on foot surveys in and around the corridor, these will commence from Monday 7 April and conclude on Saturday 19 April, weather conditions permitting.
Work will occur during normal construction hours of 7am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 8am-6pm on Saturday. If work is required outside these construction hours, impacted neighbours will be notified in advance.
We will also keep you updated by sending regular construction updates and notifications advising of key work dates.
