Level crossing works, Tarlee Road, Edgeroi, 31 March – 4 April, 2025
Rhomberg Sersa Australia Pty Ltd (RSA) has been engaged to undertake level crossing works at Tarlee Road, Edgeroi, between 31 March and 4 April 2025. Access to this level crossing will be maintained during the work.
Work being done
RSA will carry out a range of activities including replacement of the level crossing rubber panel system.
To minimise disruptions to train services and road users on this busy level crossing, the work at this location will be undertaken during the upcoming planned 72-hour closure of the railway line.
Work will also be undertaken on half of the level crossing at a time, and the work site protected behind traffic barriers.
What can I expect?
- Trucks and other vehicles entering and exiting the work site.
- Construction machinery and equipment operating on site adjacent to live traffic.
- Some minor traffic delays are expected during work hours.
- Crews will be on site continuously between 6am on Monday 31 March and 6am Friday 4 April 2025.
How we're managing impacts
- The works at the level crossing will be undertaken in two halves so access across the level crossing can be always maintained.
- Traffic control will be in place and an alternating lane of traffic across the rail line will be always maintained.
- Lighting of the work site at night will be directed at the worksite and away from any nearby residents.
- Access to private properties will not be impacted.
Cancellation of works
Works can sometimes be cancelled at short notice depending on weather and other factors. Should this occur, works will be rescheduled. Signage on site will advise of any changes.
