Inland Rail makes quick progress removing Euroa’s Anderson Street bridge
Construction progress is moving fast in Euroa, with the removal of Anderson Street bridge to make way for a new vehicle underpass.

Inland Rail has commenced transforming the Euroa Station Precinct to allow for sufficient clearance for double-stacked freight trains. In late May 2025, our construction partner John Holland began removing the Anderson Street bridge.
In Euroa, we’re also:
- relocating the east track to form a new west track
- creating a new platform
- building and upgrading carparks
- improving platform access with new lifts, ramps and stairs
- enhancing pedestrian connections across the rail corridor and the station with a new open station forecourt, pathways, ramps, and stairs.
