In Euroa, we’re modifying the station precinct and constructing a new vehicle underpass at Anderson Street to allow sufficient clearance for double-stacked freight trains.
As part of Inland Rail works, changes to pedestrian access across the rail line are required.
From early February 2026, works will be occurring close to the train platform.
Pedestrian access will still be available via the station platform, however there may be delays while we safely undertake these works.
To help reduce delays, there will be temporary pedestrian access through the Frost Street drainage infrastructure.
Works on the platform will be managed to avoid impacts to V/Line customers.
Once the new Euroa Station underpass is complete, the Frost Street drainage infrastructure will not be accessible to pedestrians.
Inland Rail is building two new pedestrian underpasses in Euroa, at the station and Handbury Street. These two new, light, bright and compliant connections across the rail line include lifts, stairs and ramps at the station, and stairs, ramps and improved cyclist access at Handbury Street.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation while we continue construction in Euroa, delivering a safer and more accessible precinct for the community.
