Soil erosion investigations near Moree from 20 January 2025

For one week from the 20th of January 2025, we will carry out soil erosion investigations at multiple locations north of Moree. Known as Erosion Threshold Velocity testing, these investigations test soil erodibility in flood-prone areas.

Narrabri to North Star Phase 2: Response to Submissions Report summary

A Response to Submissions Report is a requirement of the NSW Government’s Major Project planning process under Division 5.2 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (NSW). The report documents and responds to 19 submissions and 11 pieces of advice received by the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) during EIS exhibition in late 2022.

This document is a summary of the Narrabri to North Star Phase 2 Preferred Infrastructure Report (PIR).  The PIR includes information on additional assessments, consultation, and design refinements. The PIR was developed in response to Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) request for further information after the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) proposal exhibition (2022).
