Tallarook night works, 2-4 February, 2025
Specialist contractors will conduct site investigations inside the rail corridor at Tallarook to gather information to facilitate future rail works.
Work being done
- Investigations around Hume Freeway bridge from within the rail corridor.
What can I expect?
- Access to this section of the rail corridor will be via the level crossing on Sharps and Taylors Road, Tallarook.
- These works will happen at night when trains are not running.
- Night works between 7pm-7am, Sunday 2 February to Tuesday 4 February, 2025
- Traffic management and reduced speeds will be in place surrounding the level crossing at Sharps and Taylors Road, Tallarook.
- Nearby residents may experience some noise from machinery and vehicle movements.
Machinery used
Hi-rail elevated work platform, hand tools and supporting vehicles.
Cancellation of works
Works can be cancelled at short notice depending on weather and other factors. Should this occur, these investigations will be rescheduled.
