Work on the Beveridge to Albury Tranche 1 section is already generating jobs for local residents and we’ve invested more than $89 million with local businesses in Victoria.
John Holland is the construction contractor for the Tranche 2 section, which includes works at eight sites between Benalla and Wandong.
Three information and networking sessions will be held in September to help businesses find out how to get involved with building Inland Rail through supply, workforce and training opportunities.
The sessions will provide an overview of the Beveridge to Albury Tranche 2 project and a chance to talk with the John Holland and Inland Rail teams.
Tranche 2 works include replacing road bridges, lowering rail tracks, and station modifications to enable the safe operation of double-stacked freight trains.
Construction is scheduled to start in 2025.
Businesses interested in supplying to John Holland are encouraged to register their interest against work packages published on the project’s ICN Gateway page.
More information and resources can be found on Inland Rail’s Supplier page.
Formal presentations will be followed by a networking session.
Early registration is recommended.
