VIDEO: Hear from Beveridge to Albury Delivery Director David McGranaghan about what’s on the horizon for Inland Rail in Victoria for 2026.
Mr McGranaghan said 2026 would see bridges open in Broadford and Wandong along with other key milestones achieved in Euroa and Benalla.
“We are continuing construction and we’re going to build on the achievements in 2025,” Mr McGranaghan said.
“In Benalla, the community will see real progress made for the underpass, which will improve connectivity to the town.
“At Euroa Station Precinct, we’re doing a lot of construction work. We’re constructing two underpasses, a new station platform and also lift, ramp and stair access.”’
Mr McGranaghan said as we complete construction at sites across Victoria the community will see safer, modern infrastructure, more connectivity and safer pedestrian crossings.
He said Inland Rail has already delivered these improvements in Wangaratta.
“Beveridge to Albury is a significant project within the Inland Rail program, and both the Inland Rail project team and our contractors, are extremely excited to be able to deliver these benefits to the community.”
