Read the revised draft EIS Summary of findings

We’ve created a plain English Summary of findings document to make it easier to understand the revised draft EIS. It includes short EIS chapter overviews, outlines key impacts, assessments and mitigation measures across environmental, social and economic areas.

Out and about

Our stakeholder engagement team recently attended the Inglewood, Millmerran and Goondiwindi shows and the Toowoomba Royal Show.

We spoke to project communities about the progress of our environmental approvals and current field investigations and surveys. Thank you to everyone who dropped by – it was great to meet you.

A combined Inner and Southern Darling Downs Community Consultative Committee (CCC) meeting was held on Tuesday 15 April in Millmerran.  You can read the meeting minutes, presentation and Chair’s Summary on our website.

What’s happening in the field?

We are continuing our program of field surveys and investigations at various locations along the NSW/Qld Border to Gowrie section through 2025.

Since starting geotechnical investigations in January, we’ve completed 14 boreholes, 91 test pits, 4 auger holes and 3 cone penetration tests.  Geotechnical investigations help us better understand soil quality and ground conditions.

To keep up to date with upcoming site investigations please visit our works notifications page.

We’d like to thank all landowners for their continued support and collaboration while we continue these important investigations.
